As many of you have seen, I MOVED!
If you've been keeping up with my stories, you probably already know the frustrations I had with my old apartment. The years of frustration... it was constant loud noises, banging, zero storage or sunlight...and the garbage trucks at 6:30 am every morning was the last straw for me.
A friend had told me about a building nearby that he thought would be perfect for me.
I decide to take a look and it was love at first sight.
Not only was it more spacious and had tons of storage & light, but it was also QUIET.
Music to my ears. I said yes and with the help of some friends, moved mine and Derek's stuff over!
We've been here for a little over a week and we're loving it so far! The courtyard surrounds a peaceful fountain that runs all day and provides a very relaxing ambiance.
The lighttttttt. So much light. We have windows in every room ~ sounds obvious but before I lived in a cave... plus an added bonus, a balcony!
There is a walk-in closet and a regular closet, there are 2 bathrooms, the office is huge, it's a secure building, I have a dishwasher (finally), and I got to keep my washer dryer. What more could I ask for?
We're still hanging stuff up and figuring out where to put everything, but it's been coming along quite nicely and I'm obsessed with the new aesthetic.

The Kitchen
My new fave place to make cappuccinos and avocado toast. Looking out the window over the sink, watching people walking their dogs, & the light coming in while I make my morning capp has been my fave part of every day.
The Living Room
Love my new comfy place to relax with Derek. We love to watch movies together and he likes to game a lot. This is the perfect couch that fits a lot of people, is comfortable, and has storage in it! The pouf I'm sitting on is something I've always wanted. It's cozy and is perfect for extra seating. The light from the balcony makes the room so inviting and breathable.

The Bedroom
Let's start by saying; my bedroom is HUGE. There's actual space to walk around and so much organization. The closet fits more than enough of our stuff, which is really important because we have a lot of it. I'm excited to go to bed every night and wake up in the morning. Not to mention; light all day long. I'm obsessed. And the best part, no garbage trucks!

The Dining Room
A dining room?! Did you know it's been 5 years since I've sat at a dining table in my own place? Yeah. Needless to say, I'm excited about it. Making meals and being able to serve them has been amazing! Not to mention these velvet chairs are gorggggg.

The Office
Excited to finally have an office with light, storage, and aesthetic!! I get my own desk all to myself. You have no idea how happy this makes me. I work from home and I needed a place to stay organized and inspired.
