February 2021 Favorites

Have you noticed my new aesthetic? Lots of mint greens going on!

What better way to show it than with a skincare post! These are all of my current faves.

As usual, I still LOVE Curology. I use it regularly, but I like to spice it up with some other products.

I heard about these from one of my favorite bloggers, Jaci Marie. She swore by them , so I had to give them a try. They're a tanning drop you add to your moisturizer to add a subtle tan to your skin. THEY ROCK! I am so used to using tanning mousse on my face and, for the first day, looking like I rolled around in dirt. These add a subtle tan that isn't orange, streaky, overly tan, or crusty looking. (if you know you know) I don't look like a crinkly old lady 😂. The texture is not what I would've expected. It's like a serum but thicker. It's a goopy, honey texture. It hasn't clogged my pores, it hasn't stained anything, so ~ so far so good. It also smells SO good. Give them a try and let me know what you think.

I talked about this in my January 2020 Favorites. This balm is heavenly. It takes off all your makeup, smells amazing, and is clean ingredients! What more could you ask for? I swear by Farmacy Beauty products.

I hadn't used this body butter in a longggg time, so I asked for it for Christmas. Boy did I miss it. This is HANDS DOWN the BEST body butter on the planet. The smell, absorption, texture, and moisturization (is that a word?). This is a brand that I did a partnership with years ago when my blog had just started and I fell in love with them. They use Pistachio Oil in their products and, not only does it smell divine, it works like a charm. Perfect for moisturizing these winter months away - but absorbs so quickly!! Please do yourself a favor and buy it!! (and me cuz my link is an affiliate link ;) )

I have been using Cocokind for years. I had to stop using the oil because my pores got clogged. However, I still swear by their mask. It's a lightweight mask that doesn't dry out your skin but your skin will feel super clean and refreshed afterward. I like it because sometimes my clay mask can be too much on my skin. This one does just enough without overdrying. You can also drink the chlorophyll in your water!!

Oldies But Goodies

Stole these reviews from my last faves blog post, in case you missed it!

I've talked about this product for what feels like years. If you haven't heard of it, idk where you've been. It's the holy grail of serums. If you need a little extra moisture, some plumpness, brightening, and fading of scars... this is it. Add it to your moisturizer or use it alone, you will thank me later.

I personally use it before bed. A tiny bit. I feel that my skin is oily most of the time so I don't need it during the day. Not to mention, all the healing and soaking in time happens at night.

I learned about this one from my friend, Shannon! She was like "put this on your face you will love it." When I woke up in the morning, I was shocked! My skin was so plump, hydrated, dewy, even-toned... this is an amazing product! It's quickly becoming a lot of faves of people on Insta. Highly recommend.

A little goes a long way. I like to use it every now and then when my skin is a little dryer or more tired.

I had never used/needed eye creams until I turned 25... The skin under my eyes started getting dryer. I started using a free-bee eye cream from Estee Lauder.

I started getting eczema (or what looked like it) under my right eye. Needless to say, I stopped using it...

I switched to an all-natural eye cream from one of my fave brands, Farmacy Beauty.

I LOVE this eye cream! It's super lightweight, smells awesome, and makes my under eyes so plump and hydrated! This in combination with the mask below, you will look 5 years younger immediately!!!

Have you tried any of these? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear what you thought!

xo, Crystal
